FAQ

Common questions.

What to know about testing, results and privacy with ScriptsXO Labs.

Getting started

How does ScriptsXO Labs work?

Choose a test from Rythm at home or Quest in person. When your report is ready, add it to your ScriptsXO account. ScriptsXO groups and explains each marker, and keeps every result side by side over time.

Do I need to be a ScriptsXO member?

No. Anyone can use Labs. Adding results needs a ScriptsXO account, and nurse review of your results is part of ScriptsXO membership.

Who runs the lab test?

Rythm runs at-home kits and Quest runs in-person draws. ScriptsXO does not sell or resell lab tests. It reads the result you add.

Testing and preparation

Do I need to fast?

Follow the instructions from your lab. Panels that include glucose, insulin or lipids often ask for an overnight fast with water only.

How does an in-person draw work?

Request a draw from Labs or from your account. Your request goes to the ScriptsXO operations queue and its status shows in your account. You visit Quest for the draw and pay the lab directly.

Which files can I add?

PDF, PNG or JPEG files up to 20 MB. PDF reports are read marker by marker. A photo of a report is saved for your nurse to go over with you.

Results and privacy

What do the results mean?

Each marker shows its value, the range your lab printed, and a short note on what it measures. Your nurse goes over the full picture with you on your monthly call.

Can ScriptsXO tell me what is wrong?

No. ScriptsXO Labs informs. It does not diagnose conditions or recommend treatment. Talk with your clinician about any result that concerns you.

Are my results private?

Your files are stored privately in your ScriptsXO account. Only you and the ScriptsXO care team assigned to you can open them.

Cost

What do I pay for?

You pay Rythm or Quest directly for the lab test. Nurse review of your results is part of ScriptsXO membership.
